Palen Road In East Fishkill To Temporarily Close

EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- As a part of the ongoing bridge work on Palen Road in East Fishkill, the road will be closed to drivers on Thursday Dec. 3 and Friday Dec. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) will be placing concrete between the recently constructed bridge decks at this time.

The road work depends on weather and work conditions over the next several days. Once Palen Road has reopened, Bridge E-9 will be open to one-lane of traffic through the use of a controlled traffic signal.
